Scientist has been growing bacteria since1988 and today it has it 75,000th generation which is stronger than it's ancestors


The bacteria called ESCHERICHIA COILS was nurtured by a scientist named Richard Lenski in the lab of michigan university since 24 February 1988.The bacteria has been nurtured and freezed regularly for the past 34 years to study bacterial growth.This experiment is called long term evolution experiment.Recently the bacteria grew into it's 75,000 generation.
